Group holidays are great right up until someone has to work out who's paid the deposit, who still owes for the final balance, and whether the person who dropped out last month ever settled up. That's usually a spreadsheet nobody updates, or a group chat full of "did you pay yet?" messages.
Holiday Tracker started as a way to track exactly that for a small group of friends planning trips together, and grew into a proper tool: set up a holiday, split the cost automatically (with room to adjust for anyone paying a different amount), invite whoever's coming, and see at a glance who's paid and who hasn't — for the deposit, the monthly instalments, and the final balance.
It doesn't process payments — everyone still pays each other however they already do (bank transfer, cash, whatever works). It just keeps the bookkeeping honest so nobody has to chase anyone, and nobody gets left covering someone else's share by accident.
